Max Li, CEO
Prior to embarking on the innovative Tri Cascade journey, Mr. Li has been in the home entertainment and automation industry since 2000. Mr. Li has extensive development relationships with Microsoft and Intel for more than 12 years. Along with Microsoft and Intel, he built the first Media Center form factor for consumer living room, which was showcased at the Bill Gates Keynote Address of CES 2004.
Furthermore, Mr. Li developed the first Wi-Fi Windows universal remote control, and received the Consumer Electronics Show 2010 “Innovation Award” for best design and engineering under the Home Theatre Accessories category.
Mr. Li brings extensive industry knowledge and hands-on experience to lead Tri Cascade, also functions as the chief deal making office.
Alan Bailey, CFO
Alan Bailey is an experienced financial executive who has served several publicly traded companies through his knowledge of SEC financial reporting requirements, OTC alternative reporting, financial and tax structuring, merger & acquisition, IPO, business structure and budgeting. He is a CPA and a Fellow of the Institute of UK Chartered Accountants and is an alumni of public accounting firms Ernst & Young and Grant Thornton.
From 1975 through 2009, Alan was a Sr. Financial Executive with Paramount Pictures/Viacom responsible for Paramount’s global cash and financial management, including closing deals with international and domestic investors seeking to invest in Paramount’s motion pictures, as well as heading up Paramount’s internal audit, disaster recovery, foreign currency management, film & TV production incentives maximization, and tax structuring functions.
J.P. Chen, CTO
Mr. Chen oversees all IoT devices development at Tri Cascade and brings 19 years’ experience in embedded system design and integration. Chen’s previous roles include developing data acquisition systems at Advantech, and developing the Windows Embedded BSP for Power PC at SPS of Motorola (spin-off as Freescale).
Chen was the General Manager of Techware Technology, a Taiwanese Windows Embedded and military solution development firm. He has engaged in Windows Embedded since 1998 and developed many devices for OEM/ODM companies in Taiwan. He had rich experiences to deliver the ARM platforms like Car Navigator, Photo Frame, ARM SOM solution, Tablet, HMI, industrial serial-Ethernet server, and SCADA devices.
Mr. Chen holds Master Degree in Electronic Engineering from the National Taiwan University.
